Chris Metcalf, Owner, Coastal Hydrology, RER Associates

Chris Metcalf is the founder of and principle investigator for Coastal
Hydrology of Pensacoloa, Florida. Robinsong began its association with Metcalf in 2001 and has worked together with Coastal Hydrology on Rosgen Stream Classification projects as well as watershed assessments and stream restoration projects.

Chris has fourteen years experience as a fishery biologist. His professional career has focused on classifying, designing and building stream projects. His fields of expertise include survey skills, designing appropriate revegetated plant communities, soil bioengineering techniques as well as construction supervision of heavy equipment. Chris also has extensive experience conducting stream assessments, fish population dynamics, aquatic habitat assessment, and hydrological and water quality monitoring.

Chris teaches introductory courses for Natural Channel Design Techniques through the Auburn University Marine Extension Research Center.
